The following legislation was introduced in the Alabama State House of Representatives. HB 394, if passed would exempt transactions conducted utilizing an interactive computer service or internet auction listing service provider where there is no live public outcry by an auctioneer from the Alabama Auction licensure requirements. In summation, this legislation would exempt online auction trading houses operating in Alabama from license requirements.
